Every Saturday,
AIRTIP has a radio program for kids on West Coast Radio station. Quiz
questions on the Internet are asked and prizes are won by children between
the ages of 4-16. The program is very interesting and educative. The internet
is very important for children because it is changing how they grow, learn
and interact with each other. If we say the children are the future leaders
of tomorrow there and then , they must learn information literacy techniques.
A child
who is computer literate tends to become creative, efficient, competent,
critical and accurate. AIRTIP offers kids many opportunities for education,
recreation, growth and development.
One of
AIRTIP's aims is to increase the level of communication and improving
illiteracy in Africa.
